ASK A RAVER

I am so glad to introduce the newest segment of the blog: “Ask A Raver.” Since I started writing about raving, I have wanted to make this a part of the site, and I am so happy that it is finally happening. Every time I go to an event, I feel as though I always meet the most amazing people and learn new tips and tricks from them, and I wanted to create a platform for veterans, newbies, and everyone in between to share what they love about and have learned from raving.

As a community, it is crucial not just to highlight the events and amazing artists that make raving the magical experience that it is, but the people that make it a paradise.

One of the first things that pulled me into the EDM and rave community were the lovely and accepting people who took me in and showed me the ropes. Without them, festivals and other events might have turned out to be a little more daunting, but their kind advice has helped countless other newbies and me safely discover the magical world of raves.

As the community continues to grow, I think it is even more critical that we take the time to highlight the individuals that make up our giant, crazy, family. In every post, I will be asking the same basic questions which were chosen to be fun, heartwarming, and even a little informational (hopefully).

We will cover everything from their first event and what advice they would have for newbies, to their favorite kind of gum. My hope is that person by person we can start to make this big world seem a little smaller.

As an ongoing series, this feature will be posted on its own page (find it in the search menu) and not on the main blog. So, if you go looking for it on the main page...you aren't going to find it.
