THE SUGAR THRILLZ VALENTINES DAY COLLECTION

Well, I couldn’t help myself. When I saw this collection drop on the Dolls Kill website, I knew I needed to have all of it. Thankfully I stopped myself from buying every single thing from the collection, but I did pick up quite a few pieces, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with them. So I wanted to take some time to review the collection for those of you who may be on the fence about picking up some of the pretty pastel goodies.

First things first, before I bought online I went to the Los Angeles store to take a look at some of them in real life. I am glad I was able to do this because some of the sheer items available online don’t look anywhere near as they are in reality, which can be a little bit tricky if you are trying to pick up things that you can wear outside of the bedroom without needing to always worry about a nip slip or two. However, that was honestly the only caution I could find for those of you who have been on the fence.

This collection is the perfect mixture of soft, feminine and badass vibes that we should all expect from Dolls Kill and Sugar Thrillz. I love the blend of the soft blues and pinks and light purples so if you don’t want to be decked out in baby pink; you have some options available to you. I also love the signature print of the collection, this ‘cloudy’ sky print. The pink version of it is my absolute favorite thing I have seen so far this year. It is just subtle enough that you don’t need to worry about being a giant block of pattern, but gives the whole look enough definition that you still get that ethereal vibe. I was also a fan of the multiple options available on the collection. If you want to bare it all, they have something for you, but if you want something a little more covered up, there’s also something for you. If you want to wear pants, they’ve got you covered, but if you want a sheer bra and panty set, they have that too.

One of the things I would really like to point out is the quality of the clothing. Sometimes when you get collections like this, and especially at the fantastic price points they have, you are losing quality. The fabrics were all sturdy and felt wonderful to touch which is so crucial for lingerie. What is more, is that the construction of the clothes is great as well. Every piece is put together well, which you also don't always see at this price point (looking at you forever 21). It wasn't really a surprise because some of the other pieces I have bought from them have been incredibly well constructed and high quality, but I think it is worth mentioning.

I have mentioned it vaguely, but the prices were also one of the reasons that made this collection so cool. Dolls Kill and Sugar Thrillz both have done an outstanding job at keeping their prices reasonable and affordable for those of us who don't want to break the bank. This collection is no different. Even the shoes, which usually are something that you cannot avoid spending a little more on, were super affordable.

Speaking of the shoes, let's take a minute to appreciate them in all of their glory. Oh my god, the shoes are amazing. I purchased two pairs, and they have quickly become my favorite things in the world. The patterns and the details were shockingly awesome, and honestly, the price was pretty cool too. The butterfly platforms and the holographic platforms really show how the devil is in the details. They were so creative and such a cool way to add dreamy touches that will still work in real life.

So clearly, I was a fan of this collection as a whole, but I wanted to take some time to highlight a few for my absolute faves.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT LACE BUSTIER $28.00

This is one of the dreamiest purples I have ever seen, and it looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures. The sheer panels are super sexy and feminine, and this top can be even be dressed up and worn outside of the bedroom with a cute pair of high rise jeans or a leather skirt (if you’re feeling daring). The lace is super cute, and all in all, this is a great piece to add to your arsenal.

SKY BLISS VISION SATIN SLIP $30.00

I love a good baby doll dress, and this one is one of the cutest out there. The fabric is incredibly silky and feels amazing on the skin, plus it has a decent stretch which is always a plus. I love the shoulder tie straps because they give you the option to adjust the length a little it. The pastel blue and cloud print is a sweet touch. This dress will have you feeling like a renaissance painting.

BOUDOIR BABY FLUFFY HEELS $85.00

Now, these shoes have been in my wishlist forever. I first saw them during my first trip to the Dolls Kill store here in LA and immediately fell in love with them. The feathers are so soft, and luxe and the rhinestones on the heel and strap will have you feeling like an actual princess. Honestly, I can’t recommend these shoes enough, that is how much I love them.

ANGELIC REIGN SATIN SET $48.00

This set. This set. This set. It’s honestly just everything. The rhinestone straps mixed with the blue off the shoulder is sexy and sweet, and the matching bottoms just make the whole thing that much cooler.

COSMICALLY ALIGNED HOLOGRAM HEELS $75.00

These shoes are probably some of the coolest ones in my closet at the moment, and I own quite a few pairs of awesome shoes. The hologram angels are so sick and the 1970s looking block heel is sexy while also giving you a ton of support if you want to take these out dancing. You could wear these to the club or with a pair of blue jeans and a white button down for a more casual look, which I am all about.

SWEETHEART SEDUCTION STRAPPY SET $42.00

Okay. So this one is a lot more out there than some of the other things I have purchased from the range, but honestly, I couldn’t not have it. Yeah, it is aggressively revealing, but the candy hearts really spoke to me. I will be wearing this to crush, so check back here to see how I tried to tone it down a bit with some clever styling. Otherwise, I would say this would be a perfect treat for your significant other this valentines day.

Uhg this robe is everything. The sheer pink is sexy without being too revealing, and honestly, I fully intend just to wear this around my house casually whenever I get the chance.

Full disclosure this is the only item on this shopping guide that I do not own myself, but I couldn’t resist throwing it on there anyway. I mean, come on. The pink cloud print is adorable, and the mini look is so cute if you want to run errands or if you need a place to stash your stuff at your next event.
